Despite all the negative answers that will follow in this part of the FAQ, we would like to thank you for your interest in our studio and your solicitation.

We don’t accept spontaneous applications. Thank you for not sending any.

It is legally not possible for the studio to welcome students in a work/study training program.

We receive a lot of messages asking for an interview with one of our co-workers. Unfortunately, our team, having very tight deadlines, is too small to be able to respond to such requests.

Registration & Account

No, it’s not ! You should have received an email asking you to verify your email address. After checking the confirmation email isn’t in your spam folder, please contact us.

For this, nothing simpler ! First, login on  https://dwarf-game.com, and under the “Logout” button, click on the “Account” button. Just click on the button that you would like to edit (Password, Personal information), edit it, and confirm !

If you’ve forgotten your password, go to  https://dwarf-game.com, then click “Login”. You’ll find the option “Forgotten password?” that will ask you your email address. An email is sent to you to reset your password ! Be careful, this email might end up in your spam folder !

Preorders

It’s not possible yet to pay via Paysafecard on our website. The implementation of this payment option is not one of our priorities, but we’re considering adding it later.

After checking (rather twice than once!) that the email is not in your spam folder, we invite you to wait a few hours before contacting us via support@unexpected-studio.com.

Errors while payments don’t come from our services but from the payment service concerned by the error. To fix the problem, we invite you to contact your bank, PayPal or Stripe. However, if the issue persists, please contact us via support@unexpected-studio.com so we can try to fix it together.

Firstly, enter your payment information. Then, after selecting “Purchase dWARf as a gift” , you’re invited to enter the email address of your friend. When the payment is validated, an email is sent to your friend, inviting them to click on a link that will finalise their inscription !

You’ll be able to play dWARf by game sessions. You’ll receive emails with the date and hours of these sessions, and we will post on our social networks when it will be possible for the Founders to play.

For the pre-alpha, only european servers are deployed. If you decide to buy dWARf, you’ll be able to login and play wherever you are, but only on the european servers (which include, of course, server lag), which could greatly alter your gaming experience on dWARf.

dWARf will be available on PC, Mac et Linux.

Today, it’s not planned for the studio to deploy outside EU servers for worldwide dWARf players. We’re considering deploying them if the demand is high, but for now, from the pre-alpha to the official release of the game, only EU servers will be available.
